English Translation
And I gave the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, a gift of the meat of a wild donkey while he was at al-Abwa' or Wadan, and he returned it to me. When he saw the displeasure on my face, he said: "It is not from us out of aversion toward you, but we are in ihram." Sufyan said: 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us this hadith of al-Sa'b, from al-Zuhri, before we met him, and in it he said: "They are from their fathers." But when al-Zuhri came to us, I checked with him, and he did not say that, but said: "They are better than them."
