حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ.
English Translation
'Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah, that he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with a wild donkey, and he returned it to him, saying: "We are in ihram; we do not eat game."
