قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمُهَلَّبِ بْنِ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أُرَاهُمْ اللَّيْلَةَ إِلَّا سَيُبَيِّتُونَكُمْ فَإِنْ فَعَلُوا فَشِعَارُكُمْ حم لَا يُنْصَرُونَ.
English Translation
Aswad ibn 'Amir told us: Sharik told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Muhallab ibn Abi Sufrah, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "I think they will surely attack you by night. If they do, your password shall be: Ha Mim, they shall not be helped."
