قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
English Translation
He said: Abd al-Samad told us, he said: My father told me, he said: Humayd ibn Qays told us, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'adh al-Taymi - who said, and he was one of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to us, and he [the narrator] mentioned the hadith.
