قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ عَنْ خُفَافِ بْنِ إِيمَاءِ بْنِ رَحَضَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ لِحْيَانًا وَرِعْلًا وَذَكْوَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ عَصَتْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ وَغِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا ثُمَّ وَقَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدًا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَرَأَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي أَنَا لَسْتُ قُلْتُهُ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَهُ.
English Translation
He said: Yazid ibn Harun told us: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Imran ibn Abi Anas, from Handhalah ibn Ali al-Aslami, from Khufaf ibn Ima' ibn Rahadah al-Ghifari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in the dawn prayer while we were with him. When he raised his head from the final rak'ah, he said: May Allah curse Lihyan, Ri'l, Dhakwan, and 'Usayyah, for they disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. As for Aslam, may Allah grant them peace, and Ghifar, may Allah forgive them. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fell into prostration. When he finished, he recited to the people and said: O people, it is not I who said this, but Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said it.
