حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَمِّهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيَمْسَحُ بِالْمَاءِ عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ.
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Yazid Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' narrated to us, who said: Sa'id - meaning Ibn Abi Ayyub - narrated to us, who said: Abu al-Aswad narrated to me, from 'Abbad ibn Tamim al-Mazini, from his father or his uncle, that he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, perform ablution and wipe his feet with water.
