و قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةُ تَمَاثِيلَ.
English Translation
And Abd al-Razzaq said: Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba informed me that he heard Ibn Abbas say: I heard Abu Talha say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image of statues."
