English Translation
He said: 'Affan told us: Mulazim ibn 'Amr al-Suhaymi told us: My grandfather 'Abd Allah ibn Badr told us, and Siraj ibn 'Uqbah told me, that Qays ibn Talq told them both that his father Talq ibn 'Ali came to us in Ramadan and stayed with us until evening, and he led us in the night prayer of Ramadan and led us in witr, then went down to the mosque of Rayman and led them in prayer until only the witr remained, so he put a man forward and that man led them in witr. He said: I heard the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: There are not to be two witr prayers in one night.
