حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ ابْنَةِ صُلَيْعٍ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَإِنَّهَا عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ إِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abi Adi told us, from Ibn Awn, from Hafsa bint Sirin, from Umm al-Ra'ih bint Sulay', from Salman ibn Amir: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Charity to the poor is simply charity, and to a relative it is two things: it is charity and a bond of kinship.'
