قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ قَالَ حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ.
English Translation
He said, Waki' told us: Shu'ba told us, from al-Nu'man ibn Salim, from Amr ibn Aws, from Abu Razin al-Uqayli: that he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, 'My father is a very old man; he cannot perform the Hajj, nor the Umrah, nor travel.' He said, 'Perform Hajj on behalf of your father, and Umrah.'
