حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي الدَّرَاوَرْدِيَّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ قَوْمٌ يَأْكُلُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ كَمَا يَأْكُلُ الْبَقَرُ بِأَلْسِنَتِهَا.
English Translation
Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The Hour will not come until people emerge who eat with their tongues as cows eat with their tongues (i.e., those who are eloquent in falsehood).'
