حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا عَشْرٌ وَعَشْرٌ وَتِسْعٌ مَرَّةً.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The month is like this, and like this — ten, ten, and nine one time (i.e., sometimes twenty-nine days).'
