English Translation
Isma'il b. Ibrahim narrated to us: Muhammad b. Ishaq informed us: Sa'id b. Ubayd b. al-Sabbaq narrated to me, from his father, from Sahl b. Hunayf, who said: I used to suffer greatly from madhy (prostatic discharge) and would frequently bathe because of it. So I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about that, and he said, "Only ablution is required for it." I said, "What about what gets on my garment?" He said, "It is enough for you to take a handful of water and wipe with it whatever part of your garment you see it has touched."
