حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اكْتَحِلُوا بِالْإِثْمِدِ الْمُرَوَّحِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ.
English Translation
Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri narrated to us: Abu al-Nu'man Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Nu'man al-Ansari narrated to us from his father, from his grandfather - who had met the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Apply kohl of scented antimony, for it clears the sight and makes the hair grow.
