وَأَصَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهْبًا فَنَدَّ بَعِيرٌ مِنْهَا فَسَعَوْا فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِيعُوهُ فَرَمَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ بِسَهْمٍ فَحَبَسَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِهَذِهِ الْإِبِلِ أَوْ النَّعَمِ أَوَابِدَ كَأَوَابِدِ الْوَحْشِ فَإِذَا غَلَبَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنْهَا فَاصْنَعُوا بِهِ هَكَذَا.
English Translation
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, obtained some plunder, and a camel from it bolted, and they ran after it but could not catch it, so a man from the group shot it with an arrow and it was stopped. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "These camels" - or "this livestock" - "have some that turn wild like wild game; so whenever something of it overcomes you, deal with it thus."
