English Translation
Abd al-Rahman told us: Sufyan told us, from Humayd al-A'raj, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Abu Salamah, from Abdullah ibn Rawahah, that he came from a journey at night and hastened to his wife. There was a lamp lit in his house, and there was something with his wife, so he took up the sword. His wife said: "Away, away from me! It is so-and-so, combing my hair." He went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and told him, so he forbade a man from coming upon his family unexpectedly at night.
