حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّهُ لُدِغَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ قَالَ سُهَيْلٌ فَكَانَ أَبِي إِذَا لُدِغَ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا يَقُولُ قَالَهَا فَإِنْ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ كَأَنَّهُ يَرَى أَنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ.
English Translation
A man from the Aslam tribe was stung, and he mentioned it to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet said: 'If you had said when evening came: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created - it would not have harmed you.'
