حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ الْحُبْرَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَلَا تَغْلُوا فِيهِ وَلَا تَجْفُوا عَنْهُ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَسْتَكْثِرُوا بِهِ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Recite the Quran, but do not be excessive about it, do not neglect it, do not make a livelihood from it, and do not seek to increase your wealth through it.'
