حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَخٍ بَخٍ خَمْسٌ مَا أَثْقَلَهُنَّ فِي الْمِيزَانِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَالْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ يُتَوَفَّى فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ وَالِدَاهُ وَقَالَ بَخٍ بَخٍ لِخَمْسٍ مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ مُسْتَيْقِنًا بِهِنَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَبِالْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ وَالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْحِسَابِ.
English Translation
A freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Excellent, excellent! Five things - how heavy they are in the Scale: La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), and a righteous child who dies and whose parents bear the loss patiently.' And he said: 'Excellent, excellent for five things - whoever meets Allah with certainty in them will enter Paradise: believing in Allah, the Last Day, Paradise, the Fire, and the resurrection after death and the reckoning.'
