حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَأَنْ أُشَيِّعَ مُجَاهِدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأَكُفَّهُ عَلَى رَاحِلَةٍ غَدْوَةً أَوْ رَوْحَةً أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'For me to help equip a warrior in the cause of Allah and assist him on his mount for a morning or evening journey is more beloved to me than the world and all that is in it.'
