حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوْ اعْتَمَرَ فَلْيَكُنْ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ فَبَلَغَ حَدِيثُهُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ خَرَرْتَ مِنْ يَدِكَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ تُخْبِرْنَا بِهِ.
English Translation
Ahmad ibn al-Hajjaj and Ali ibn Ishaq told us, they said: Abdullah informed us: al-Hajjaj ibn Artah informed us, from Abd al-Malik ibn al-Mughirah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Baylamani, from Amr ibn Aws, from al-Harith ibn Abdullah ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs Hajj to the House, or performs Umrah, let the last thing he does be the House." His report reached Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, and he said to him: "You have dropped it from your hand - you heard this from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and did not inform us of it!"
