حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ طَارِقٍ أَبُو قُرَّةَ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحُصَيْبِ وَإِلَى جَانِبِهَا رِمَعٌ وَهِيَ قَرْيَةُ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ أَبِي وَكَانَ أَبُو قُرَّةَ قَاضِيًا لَهُمْ بِالْيَمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ قُدَامَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَالَ أَبُو قُرَّةَ وَزَادَنِي سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ فِي حَدِيثِ أَيْمَنَ هَذَا عَلَى نَاقَةٍ صَهْبَاءَ بِلَا زَجْرٍ وَلَا طَرْدٍ وَلَا إِلَيْكَ إِلَيْكَ.
English Translation
Musa ibn Tariq Abu Qurrah al-Zubaydi, from the people of al-Husayb, next to which is Rima', the village of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari - my father said: Abu Qurrah was a judge for them in Yemen - told us: Ayman ibn Nabil Abu Imran told us: I heard a man from among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called Qudamah - meaning Ibn Abdullah - say: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cast the pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice. Abu Qurrah said: Sufyan al-Thawri added to me in this hadith of Ayman: "on a reddish-brown she-camel, without striking, without driving people away, and without saying 'make way, make way.'"
