حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ مَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْغَائِطِ فَدَعَوْنَاهُ إِلَى عَجْوَةٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا عَلَى تُرْسٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ تَوَضَّأَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا.
English Translation
Musa ibn Dawud told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by us coming from relieving himself, and we invited him to some ajwah dates before us on a shield, and he ate from them without having performed ablution before eating from them.
