English Translation
Yazid told us, Sulayman, that is al-Taymi, told us, from Abu Nadra, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his companions, "None of you — no soul that is born — will reach the age of a hundred years and still be alive on that day." Yazid told us, Sulayman told us, from 'Abd al-Rahman, the keeper of the water-supply, from Jabir, similarly, and Jabir explained it as referring to the diminishing of lifespans.
