English Translation
Ali ibn Abdullah al-Madini told us, Sufyan told us, Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Rabi'ah al-Sulami told us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: O Jabir, do you not know that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, brought your father back to life and said to him, Wish for something from Me? He said: Return me to the world so that I may be killed once again. He said: I have already decreed that they shall not return to it.
