English Translation
Abd al-Wahhab - meaning Ibn Ata' - told us, Usamah ibn Zayd al-Laythi informed us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the mosque and found people reciting the Qur'an. He said: "Recite the Qur'an and seek Allah, Mighty and Majestic, through it, before a people come who will straighten it out as an arrow is straightened, hastening its reward and not waiting for it."
