حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَقَالَ طُعْمَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ.
English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad told us, Abu Uways told us, Shurahbil told us, from Jabir, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that he forbade the price of a dog, and said: "It is an ill-gotten gain of the Jahiliyyah."
