English Translation
Musa and Hasan ibn Musa told us, they said: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, who said: I asked Jabir about the sacrifice (on the Day of Sacrifice). Jabir said: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in prayer on the Day of Sacrifice in Medina, and some men went ahead and slaughtered their sacrifices, thinking that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had already slaughtered. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered whoever had slaughtered to repeat the sacrifice with another one, and commanded that no one should slaughter until he had slaughtered.
