حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ السَّاعَةِ وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ مَنْفُوسَةٌ الْيَوْمَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ.
English Translation
Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said, a month before he died, "You ask me about the Hour, but its knowledge is with Allah alone. I swear by Allah, there is no soul now living on earth today upon whom a hundred years will pass."
