حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ قَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ مَا الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ قَالَ إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ وَإِفْشَاءُ السَّلَامِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, Muhammad ibn Thabit told us, Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir told us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "An accepted Hajj has no reward but Paradise." They said, "O Prophet of Allah, what is an accepted Hajj?" He said, "Feeding food and spreading greetings of peace."
