English Translation
Sulayman ibn Harb told us, Ghalib ibn Sulayman Abu Salih told us, from Kathir ibn Ziyad al-Bursani, from Abu Sumayyah, he said: We differed here about "the arrival" [at the Fire]. Some of us said: "No believer will enter it." Others said: "They will all enter it, then God will save those who feared Him." So I met Jabir ibn Abdullah and said to him: "We have differed about that arrival — some of us said no believer enters it, and others said they all enter it." He put his two fingers to his ears and said: "May they be deaf if I did not hear the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'The arrival is the entering — no righteous person nor sinner will remain except that he enters it, but it will be coolness and safety upon the believer, just as it was upon Abraham, until the Fire — or he said Hell — will have a roaring from their coldness. Then God will save those who feared Him, and leave the wrongdoers in it, fallen on their knees.'"
