حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ مِنْ حِفْظِهِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ جَابِرٍ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِأَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا.
English Translation
Abu Abd al-Rahman Abdullah ibn Yazid told us from his memory, Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub told us, Amr ibn Jabir Abu Zur'ah al-Hadrami told me, he said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The poor among the Muslims will enter Paradise before the rich by forty autumns."
