English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: Abd al-Malik told us, from Ata', from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, began with the prayer before the sermon on the two Eids, without any call to prayer or iqamah. He said: Then he delivered the sermon to the men while leaning on a bow. He said: Then he came to the women and addressed them and urged them to give charity. He said: So they began throwing their earrings, rings, and jewelry to Bilal. He said: And he did not pray before the prayer nor after it.
