English Translation
Ibn Idris told us, from Husayn, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Jabir, who said: A caravan once arrived in Medina while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was delivering the sermon, so the people went out to it, and only twelve remained. So the verse was revealed: "And when they see a transaction or amusement, they scatter off to it..."
