English Translation
Nasr ibn Bab told us, from Hajjaj, from Ata', from Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in prayer on the two Eids without any call to prayer or announcement of standing; then he delivered a sermon to us; then he came down and walked to the women, accompanied only by Bilal, and he commanded them to give charity. So the women began throwing their earrings and rings to Bilal.
