English Translation
Ziyad ibn Abdullah al-Bakka'i told us, al-Hajjaj ibn Artah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whenever there is shared property or a house between a group of people, and one of them wants to sell his share, let him offer it to his partners; and if they take it, they have more right to it at that price."
