English Translation
Sufyan told us, from Amr, who heard Jabir: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sold a slave who had been declared free upon his death. Ibn al-Nahham bought him — a Coptic slave, who died in the first year of the governorship of Ibn al-Zubayr. A man from the Ansar had made that declaration over him, and he had no property other than him.
