English Translation
Sufyan told us: I heard Ibn al-Munkadir more than once narrating from Jabir; and I think I once heard him say, "Someone who heard Jabir informed me," and I supposed he heard it from Ibn al-Munkadir and Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ate meat then prayed without performing ablution; and that Abu Bakr ate meat then prayed without performing ablution; and that Umar ate meat then prayed without performing ablution.
