حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ دَعُوا النَّاسَ يَرْزُقْ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ.
English Translation
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A townsman must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Leave the people alone; Allah will provide for some of them through others."
