حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجَدَ تَمْرَةً فَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَةً لَأَكَلْتُهَا.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The example of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is like that of a body: when one limb ails, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever.'
