حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ فِي قَصَصِهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ النَّارِ بَعْدَ مَا يُصِيبُهُمْ سَفْعٌ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ يُسَمِّيهِمْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَهَنَّمِيِّينَ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ عُوقِبُوا بِذُنُوبٍ أَصَابُوهَا قَالَ هَمَّامٌ لَا أَدْرِي فِي الرِّوَايَةِ هُوَ أَوْ كَانَ يَقُولُهُ قَتَادَةُ.
English Translation
'Affan and Bahz told us, they said: Hammam told us — Bahz said in his narration: I heard Qatadah say in his storytelling — Anas ibn Malik told us that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A people will come out of the Fire after being scorched" — Bahz said: "and they will enter Paradise, and the people of Paradise will call them 'the people of Jahannam.'" 'Affan said in his narration: And Qatadah used to say: "They were punished for sins they had committed." Hammam said: I do not know whether that is part of the report or something Qatadah used to say himself.
