English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid told us, Khalid ibn Abdullah told us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik, that a man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked him for a mount. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "We will mount you on the offspring of a she-camel." He said: "O Messenger of God, what would I do with the offspring of a she-camel?" The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do camels give birth to anything but the offspring of she-camels?"
