حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ فَمَا قَالَ لِي قَطُّ لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ قَطُّ أَسَأْتَ وَلَا بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعْتَ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Ishaq told us: Abd Allah informed us, he said: Humayd al-Tawil informed us, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: "I served the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for nine years, and he never said to me, for anything I did, 'You did badly' or 'How poorly you did that.'"
