English Translation
Yazid informed us: Humayd informed us, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by some palm trees belonging to Banu al-Najjar and heard a sound. He said, "What is this?" They said, "The grave of a man who was buried in the Age of Ignorance." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would have asked Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to let you hear the punishment of the grave."
