English Translation
Bahz narrated to us: Abu al-Awwam al-Qattan narrated to us — my father, who is Imran ibn Dawar, and he was blind — Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appointed Ibn Umm Maktum as his deputy over Medina twice, to lead them in prayer, though he was blind.
