English Translation
Yahya told us, from Humayd, who said: Anas was asked whether the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had taken a signet ring. He said, "Yes. One night he delayed the night prayer until midnight, then he said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, while you remain in prayer as long as you wait for it' — and it is as though I can still see the gleam of his ring."
