English Translation

Waki' and Ibn Ja'far — that is, Ghundar — told us, both saying: Shu'bah told us, from Qatadah, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was brought some meat that had been given in charity to Barirah, and he said, "It is charity for her, but it is a gift for us."
