English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad told us, Sharik told us, from Jabir, from Khaythamah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I went in with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to visit Zayd ibn Arqam, who was suffering from an eye ailment, and he said to him, "O Zayd, if your eyesight were as it is now, what would you do?" He said, "I would be patient and seek reward." He said, "If your eyesight were as it is and then you were patient and sought reward, you would meet Allah, Mighty and Majestic, with no sin upon you."
