English Translation
Aswad told us, Umarah al-Saydalani told us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: A beggar came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he ordered a single date be given to him, but he did not take it, or shied away from it. Then another one came to him, and he ordered a single date be given to him, and the man said, "Glory be to Allah, a single date from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him!" He said to the servant girl, "Go to Umm Salamah and give him the forty dirhams that are with her."
