حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي الْأَحْمَرَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَاصُّوا الصُّفُوفَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ تَقُومُ فِي الْخَلَلِ.
English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Ja'far - meaning al-Ahmar - informed us, from Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Straighten the rows, for the devils stand in the gaps."
